It all started on Wednesday the 21st Sep 2011 with phone calls between Alice from Karai Children's Vocational Centre and Kissinger from Bethesda children's home.

It was a good opportunity for Karai admistrators to learn more from Bethesda about the exit programme. At 9 am the Karai team arrived at Bethesda having travel all the way from Kikuyu district Kiambu County, imagine the distance travelled and the arrival time.

With a population of about 160 children and everyone was ready to learn from each other as much as they could.

Some of the topics coved were: The road map in terms of recruitment and the exit point policies, the discipline cases, the ground settings, the transition centre and the financial and budgeting issues.

We are both looking forward to impliment the learned skills and experiences from both sides.

Many thanks to Seith Abeka from TAABCO Research Consoltants company in uniting the two organizations for a common purpose.

Friends together we shall achieve much for the benefit of the children.

Long live TAABCO, KARAI and BETHESDA

A friend in need is a friend indeed!!! One morning two old firends met after a period of 3 years. As Zoe was walking a long the streets of Nakuru town in Kenya she saw young street children in need of food running after her begging for food.

As eyes met they looked at each other with searching eyes. Then the realite come as they called each other by names. Zoe? Gabo. Those were the two familiar names they called each other. One comes from England and the other one come from Kenya.

Within four days Gabo found his way to Bethesda children's home where he is settled and attending Ngata priary school in class 6.

Indeed a friend in need is a friend indeed. What a saying that once for a while becomes true for all those who believe in God.

Some of the friends who also love Gabo too like Rebecca and Annie are happy to see him at a good caring home called Bethesda. As Zoe is preparing to leave the Kenya soon, her mission as been fruitfull by touching somebody's life for ever and ever AMEN.
